Sterling Supply was founded in 1948 by Ben and Bernice Samson. With
just a few items and a length of pipe, Ben set out in his station
wagon in search of his dream. Located in downtown Chicago, Sterling
Supply began to grow rapidly. After 20 years, the Samson's decided
it was time to move out of the old building and into a larger one.
Ben and Bernice moved their establishment to Lisle which is a suburb
of Chicago. For 43 years, Ben was a successful entrepreneur until
he passed away in 1991. The Sterling traditions are still carried
on today by Bernice and her youngest son Roger.
